Mosaic Design Submission
I had the opportunity to participate in a live brief to design a mosaic to celebrate 170 years of WM College, where I studied illustration. As a class, we collaborated with Hackney Mosaic Project, who eventually made the chosen design a permanent feature outside the college
Board Games
For a college project brief, I designed a series of commemorative stamps based on a topic of personal interest, with Royal Mail as the hypothetical client. Below, you can see a mockup of my stamp designs, complete with the packaging I created for them
Poetry Book Cover (practice brief)
I redesigned the cover of Gerda Mayer’s book of poems, A Heartache of Grass, in response to a college brief. I incorporated my own illustrations and a new colour palette while keeping the original text and font
Learn Something New About Yourself (practice brief)
This illustration was created as part of a short online course on editorial illustration. The creative prompt was Learn Something New About Yourself
The History of Emotions (self-initiated project)
In this self-initiated project, I developed my editorial illustration skills by creating a response to an existing magazine article. I chose a piece published in Mind magazine, written by Kitty Drake, which explores the history of our emotions. The images below are mock-ups demonstrating how my illustrations might appear in both printed and online magazine formats
